Eee PC 900 Specifications
The Asus Eee Pc comes in two flavours - Linux and Windows XP Home Edition. Due to the cost
associated with installing Windows you'll find that the Linux version has a slightly
higher specification. This makes the base Linux Eee PC 900 the cheapest option.

Eee PC 900 with Windows XP Home Edition: The main difference between the Windows Asus Eee PC 900 and the Linux variant is the storage capacity. The base XP Home Edition model comes with 12 Gb of storage compared to 20 Gb on the Linux netbook. As we've stated, this configuration is, in part, due to the costs associated with licensing Windows XP. The Windows version is, in most cases, the cheapest option.
